Risk Assessment – Understanding Key Concepts and Tools
It seems that every safety-related publication and conference is focused on “risk” and “risk assessment” these days. Is this just another fad? Risk tends to be more of the language of business. Risk assessments go beyond hazard identification and enable the safety professional to better communicate with their management team on those items that can most significantly impact the organization’s profits and longevity.
This session will review the differences between risk assessment and hazard identification, review the risk assessment process, and provide tools that can be used in different situations to help you better assess risk in your organization.
